Candles as a Daily Ritual

So.Slow was created by Kristina Mikulajová, who chose to slow down the world around her. In a time when everything is driven by speed and efficiency, she took the opposite path: mindful creation, honest handmade work, and scents that bring a sense of calm and intentional pause.


In 2020, Kristina began crafting her first candles in a small studio in Bratislava. She patiently refined every detail — from selecting plant-based waxes and pure essential oils to finding the perfect wick. After countless tests and experiments, she developed a signature style: delicate, authentic, and deeply connected to nature.


The candles are made slowly and by hand, with care for both quality and sustainability. Containers are designed to be reused, waxes are purely plant-based, and scents come from natural essences. Every step is guided by care, balance, and conscious pace — nothing is rushed, nothing is overlooked.


These are more than just candles; they are little rituals. An invitation to slow down, take a deep breath, and enjoy a moment of calm that often gets lost in the rush of daily life.
