Inviting friends over for a glass or two, spending a lazy Sunday morning in bed with your husband or playing with your kids through a rainy afternoon – some of our best memories are made at home, when we are surrounded by people and things we love.
It is these precious everyday moments that are at heart of Krehky, a brand founded in 2010 by Jana Zielinski and Jiri Macek (who also happen to be the founders of Designblok). Under the Krehky label, they collaborate with many world-renowned designers as well as with the traditional Czech manufacturers. Most commonly, they work with porcelain, wood or glass.
“We believe our collection has the power to turn an ordinary moment into an extraordinary one,” says the founding duo, whose ultimate goal is to create objects they wouldn’t hesitate to put in their own home – and if that is not a high standard, then we don’t know what is!
