"Only One Glass" is a surreal composition of objects that signify a glamorous lifestyle. The interior is inspired by a romantic boutique hotel in Lakeville. There is a grand bathtub in the shape of a glass, an exotic horse, and a rare vintage Ferrari automobile. This all signifies "the absurd excess of the universe" as poet Jack Gilbert once said. "By meaningless bulk, vastness without size, power without consequence." The viewer is invited to enter the space where he/she can either observe the woman on the glass or associate with the woman experiencing a moment of a broken promise we all gave once "Only One Glass. ..".

Aziya is a female artist based in Prague. She was born in a family of artists in Kazakhstan and was raised between theater where her mom was playing and the studio where her dad was sculpting. This has shaped her perception and provided the basis for creativity and self expression. Aziya lived in Europe, US, UK and is permanently based in Prague. She has a vast cultural experience and aims to promote diversity, understanding, and tolerance in today’s globalized world.

Aziya draws inspiration from a wide range of sources both traditional and unconventional, and her art reflects on ongoing exploration and learning. Strong personalities and statement aesthetics is one of her sources of inspiration. Her work is aimed to be a source of beauty and inspiration for people around the world.
